Fogar do Santiso Compostela is a farm-to-table restaurant and eco-gastronomic destination located in the heart of Santiago de Compostela’s historic Old Town. Just steps from the iconic Santiago Cathedral, on the famous Rúa do Franco, our restaurant offers visitors a truly unique experience that blends traditional Galician cuisine, rural culture, and sustainable living. We are the only farm-to-table restaurant in Santiago, serving dishes made with seasonal ingredients from our own organic farm and trusted local producers.

 We don’t follow the crowd! At Fogar do Santiso we’re proudly rooted, a little wild, and 100% sustainably authentic farmers. Our spaces are eco-designed with recycled and natural materials, inspired by Galician architecture and traditions. It’s the perfect stop for travelers looking to taste authentic food and connect with the local culture.  

And by night... don’t miss our famous "Noites Meigas" – a magical Galician ritual featuring the traditional Queimada ceremony with our own "conxuro" (spell), accompanied by live folk music. A mystical and unforgettable experience that brings you closer to the soul of Galicia. 

At Fogar do Santiso Compostela, we cook with the very best our land has to offer: organic vegetables from our own garden, fresh seafood from the nearby estuaries, Galician native-breed meats grilled over open flames, and the finest handcrafted desserts and ice creams. All paired with the magical brews of our Druids: organic wines, vermouth, sangría, Peregrina craft beer, and our own Fogar liqueurs. 

 Our “Cociña da Terra” (Cuisine of the Land) is rooted in tradition and based on local, organic, and seasonal ingredients, all prepared over the grill. It’s a universe of authentic Galician flavors, full of identity and deep respect for the planet.
